Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are a thin, custom-made shell that is placed over your teeth to improve the appearance of your smile. They are custom-made to fit your mouth and designed to look like real teeth, so you can enjoy a new smile. The veneers are made of strong materials that bond tightly to your teeth. The thin shells give you a beautiful smile without the hassle of adjustments or maintenance.

About Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are stronger than natural teeth and resistant to stains. They can last for several years without needing replacement. With porcelain veneers, we can alter the appearance of your teeth to give them a natural look. This means that if you have gaps in between your teeth, or if they’re crooked, we can make them look like they were all straightened at the same time. Most people have no problem with anaesthesia during this procedure. Our team will talk you through the procedure in detail during your consultation.

What are Porcelain Veneers?

They’re usually made out of porcelain (although sometimes they’re made out of zirconia) and they’re bonded directly onto your existing teeth, using special dental cement that’s designed to adhere only to tooth enamel — not gum tissue. This makes them very strong, durable and resistant to chips and fractures.

The procedure is quick and painless and most patients can resume their normal activities within days after having their porcelain veneers placed on their teeth.

The advantage of porcelain veneers is that they can hide any imperfections or damage on your natural teeth, making them look more attractive and uniform-looking than ever before. When you wear them, it will seem like you have perfectly straight teeth even if they aren’t perfectly straight!
