What is Calf Reduction ?
Results with calf surgery are not drastic and patients need to understand the anatomy of bone prominence, muscle mobility and how much active fat is actually present in the calf. This procedure involved using liposuction to remove fat from the leg with a hollow tube called a cannula.
This technique does not require stitches, but it does leave some bruising and swelling for several weeks after surgery, but those symptoms should subside within a couple of weeks. You’ll need to wear compression garments for several weeks after the surgery, which will help minimise swelling and ensure proper healing.
