Buffalo Hump Procedure and Recovery:

Buffalo hump is not harmful to the rest of the body, although some people may find them aesthetically unsightly. After all, it can be a body part that stands out a lot. Additionally, it is a region where weight loss with diet and exercise is challenging. Fortunately, buffalo hump reduction is the only and quickest solution.

Procedure:

At Signature Clinic, we use local anaesthesia for Liposuction. You will be awake during the whole surgery after a diluted local anaesthetic is injected into the treatment region and therefore will not feel any pain or discomfort. The surgeon will use small incisions to remove the extra fat from the area. When the buffalo hump is removed, the area will be covered with a dressing. You may need to wear a compression garment right after the surgery.

Recovery:

Following buffalo hump removal treatment, there may be some swelling and bruising, which is typical. You will be using a compression garment to speed up the healing and reduce swelling. It is important to avoid any gym and exercise for the first 2-3 weeks.
