How did you come across Signature Clinic?
I came across Signature Clinic when I was looking at different plastic surgery clinics on the internet. I looked at their results, and I liked what I saw. So I decided to look a bit deeper and found Dr John – he seemed like a lovely guy. Other than that, there was no other reason to choose them, but the results they had achieved. There were no bad reviews or bad results, so I thought this was the perfect place for me.
Why did you decide to get Gynecomastia treatment?
I chose to have gynecomastia surgery because it was painful for me on one side more than the other. The amount of testosterone I had built up caused an increase in estrogen, leading me to have a buildup on my left side. It wasn’t as important for me to correct the appearance of my chest as it was for me to correct the discomfort and tenderness I felt when pressing against my nipples.
What was the procedure like?
The procedure itself was easier than expected; I was talking through the entire thing, even laughing and joking at some points. The worst part was when they put liquid inside my chest during the surgery; it was uncomfortable but never painful. I would happily go through it again.
What made you decide to go live on Instagram?
I wanted to raise awareness of the procedure because gynecomastia affects up to 47% of men. I wanted them to know they weren’t alone by sharing my surgery on Instagram live. I wanted to bring it into the mainstream – women have breast augmentations and butt lifts but these days men suffer from this and don’t talk about it because it’s a taboo,
Would you do anything differently?
One of the only things I’d change is I would’ve gotten this done during the winter so I didn’t have to wear it in hot weather. But aside from that, everything went really well with the procedure.
How was the team here at Signature Clinic?
The Signature Clinic team were fantastic and really looked after me from the second I walked in there—they talked me through everything and distracted me when I needed to be distracted. Dr John and his team were amazing too—I can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done; from the pre-surgery meetings right through to aftercare calls to check up on me.

I’d give them 10 out of 10 for my procedure, and recommend them to everyone. If I ever had anything else done, these are definitely the first people I’d go to!
