Dr Seth attained his medical degree from St George’s University in Grenada. His time there allowed him to experience both the UK and US healthcare systems. He passed the US examinations and went to a plastic surgery rotation at Coney Island Hospital, New York, affirming his desire to pursue a career in this field.
Dr Seth began his surgical training in the UK at the University Hospital of North Midlands NHS trust and ultimately achieving a Membership to the Royal College of Surgeons. In 2005, he began his Plastic Surgery specialist training and he has trained at a number of prestigious hospitals throughout the UK. Dr Seth further undertook a PhD in microsurgical reconstruction using gene therapy at the Institute of Cancer Research and Royal Marsden Hospital, the largest cancer centre in Europe, and his research led to a number of high profile awards and publications. Following completion of his PhD, Dr Seth gained further experience in plastic surgery at Frenchay Hospital, Queen Victoria Hospital, St Mary’s/Charing Cross Hospital, Great Ormond Street and the Royal Marsden Hospital.
Outside his practice, Dr Seth is actively involved in teaching, he maintains a position of trainee representative and he sits on the Plastic Surgery Council at the Royal Society of Medicine. He also interviews prospective students at St George’s University Medical School.
