Arm Lift Procedure:
Like any other surgical procedure, Arm Lift (Brachioplasty) will leave a scar extending from the armpit to the elbow when excess skin needs to be excised. The majority of excess skin is caused by the weight of the fat. Substantial reduction of the fat in the area will cause the skin to contract back to a less loose state. With the input and the expectations of the patient, the excess skin can be removed or not.
If the patient come to Signature Clinic for arm lift procedure with a mild Brachioplasty case, we can use laser or Vaser liposuction alone to the arms, which will provide the patient the skin tightening aspect of the procedure, alongside the aspiration from the melted/burst fat.
